4th July 2011 Reviews Consumer & Travel Family Culture

Happy 4th of July to all our American friends! As you all know, Felipe is a US citizen and loves his country very much so we "celebrate" the holiday here at home, too. Balloons and decorations with the color of the US flag were placed at home as well as Uncle Sam hats. Felipe also made a big US flag and colored it. We will have a typical American meal of roasted chicken, mash potatoes, gravy and peas. I wanted BBQ but we have a vegetarian daddy who doesn't cook "dead animals". laugh.gif

Enviro lawyer seeks $750k in fireworks case

Attorney Marco Gonzalez is asking the city of San Diego to pay $756,000 in fees related to litigation over July 4th fireworks. "I"d call his request completely ridiculous, but that would probably provoke him into demanding an additional half-million dollars," said a spokesman for the mayor. Ref. Source 8
