THE murder toll for the year has jumped to 213 following the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy near his Arouca home on Friday night.
The victim has been identified by police as Kelvon George, of Windy Hill, Arouca. He also lived at 11th Street, Barataria.
George was shot in the neck by a gunman moments after he left his mother's Arouca home and was on his way to his father's home at Barataria.
