Missing teen found killed 3 years later
The remains of a Lemon Grove teen missing for three years were found in January and yesterday sheriff’s officials said she had been killed. Kimberly Arteaga’s decomposed body was located in Otay Valley. Investigators thought she was a runaway. Ref. Source 8w.

It is sad that they thought she was a runaway. If they had treated this as a abduction or other foul play maybe they could have found her earlier and even found some DNA on her that would help lead to her killer. Now three yeas later the DNA that could have helped is probably gone.
