Reports revealed that Simon Kydd, 28, of Pierre Felix Road was walking along the Diego Martin Main Road at about 8.35 pm when a silver-coloured car drove alongside him in the vicinity of Duvall Avenue.
Residents reported hearing several loud explosions and a short while later a car was heard speeding away. After alerting the police, residents ventured cautiously outside their homes and saw the labourer's bullet-riddled body on the pavement in a pool of blood.
