Did You Ever Imagine...

Did you ever wonder what it would be like to be the opposite sex? Did you ever wish you were? If you got a chance to be the opposite sex for a day... would you try it? What do you think your opposite would be like? How do you see the opposite sex version of you? In other words... if you are a male then would the female version of you be cute and adorable? How about the male version of you if you are a female? Lots can come up here, but keep in mind the forum rules.

Imagine You Did

When I was a kid I always wished I was a boy. When we would play "house" and choose to be imaginary people, I always chose a boy. I was also the stereotypical tomboy! Yes, I would try to be a man for a day to see if it is what I have imagined it to be.

While I am now comfortable in my skin as a woman, I do believe it is a man's world in a lot of ways. I enjoy motorcycles, golf and work in a male dominated career, but there are definate advantages to being a woman. Most of these are only apparent in adulthood. At least to me. As a child, girls couldn't play little league, now they can, so one less reason to want to be a boy as a child. It just seemed like the boys got to do all the fun stuff when I was a kid. These days I can do those fun things even as a women, but I can also cry openly in a movie, or if I get hurt emotionally or physically, and no one judges me as less for it. If a man cried in the work place......, but a woman can (I have).

Of course if I were a guy, I would be very good looking! biggrin.gif I would be athletic (because I am as a woman) and I think I would definately be very masculine. I would probably be a carpenter or cop or something like that. Not an office worker.

Did You Ever Imagine... Health & Special Psychology

this is an interesting topic

when i was growing up..in my adolescent yrs, i remember thinking boys had more fun. Going out was easier, since your parents didnt seem to worry about you as much. But getting older, i realise that i love being a female. I think you can get away with ALOT more. As tenaheff pointed out, women are allowed to be openly emotional...and even though i am not, its still nice to have an option wink.gif

plus, in retrospect, i think men have it harder throughout their lives. Its so important to be macho, and to defend yourself in a physical manner. If a woman insults me, i can just walk away...but if a man insults another man, theres pressure to fight back. Im glad i didnt have to grow up with those pressures in my life.

and although this may be a little controversial...i think women have it easier in the romance department...since men are less complicated than women tongue.gif

if i were a man?..i would be handsome (i should think!)...actually...i think id be more *cute*...the kinda man you can carry home for your parents wink.gif . I dont think i would be a sports kinda guy...id more likely to be laid back and passive.
I wouldnt mind being a man for a day...but forever?..i dont think so...i enjoy being a woman thank you very much!

Imagine You Did

I've never actually wished to be male, but I remember being envious at the "power" guys had to just do what they wanted. Girls always had more restrictions. (This was my opinion as a child and teenager -- I know it's not true now.)

I'd much rather be a woman, because I love being a mother. That has been the biggest blessing in my life, taught me the most, helped me to grow as a person, led me to understand the nature and strength of love. I haven't seen that in many fathers -- at least not that they talk about or show openly. One of the most amazing events in human life is giving birth. I wouldn't have missed that for anything!

If given a chance, I would like to experience for a day how it feels to be male. I'm sure I would look just like my son (who looks just like me smile.gif ) and therefore handsome... But only for a day.

IMO
Roz

I never wished to be a man, no! that would be like a nightmare! laugh.gif nothing wrong with men wink.gif but I am very girlie-girlie, I like my make-up, polish, brushes, shoes and all that sort of stuff women like to do.
If I was a man hmmmmm I may be kind of shy but not that much, good looking I hope, and straightforward.

Did You Imagine...

Wow, I'm the only guy replying to this thread. I must be a freak, hehe, whatever. I have imagined what it would be like to be a woman. I would probably be a tomboyish-kinda shy-different kind of girl. I would probably never have children, but would have a commited relationship. I have respect for females and what they have to go through, so it depends on which day I would be a female. I'm not a very masculine type guy anyways, so things wouldn't be too much different.

I suppose you don't dress as a woman right now right? laugh.gif just kidding wink.gif

I cannot imagine myself as a man, and if I could, I think I may be one of those who are always complaining about everything....
