Comments: I had a great stay in Trinidad but I'm supposed to be exiting the country in a couple of days back to Canada. I don't think I quite got all the trinkets I needed though are there any really good gift shops at your Piarco airport that I can get stuff before I leave?

There are many gift shops in Piarco so you shouldn't have trouble. I can't recommend any but what I do think you should do is browse them first and select the best one based on price and customer service because they all pretty much sell the same thing.
