A mother and her two young children were found murdered at their Plumbago Avenue, La Horquetta.
Up to late last evening, La Horquetta residents were trying to come to terms with what could drive someone to slaughter Vonetta Haynes-Reyes and her sons, Malik, eight, and Makasi Reyes, four.

What a horrible murder! I was so sad to hear about this case, how awful! How come the police has no leads? There are reports that she was involved with a 20 year old man and now I'm reading she had a profile on a sex site.

The sole purpose of the adult site was to assist individuals wishing to have sex with other people, discreetly and confidentially.
Investigators said they would be pursuing all possible leads including any individuals Haynes-Reyes may have met on the website.
