What are your thoughts about the reporting / journalism of Sasha Mohammed?
Here is the latest information from one local paper:
A STILL wet-behind-the-ear reporter is said to be at the centre of a brewing controversy reportedly involving TV6, the Express and Guardian newspapers. But Sasha Mohammed, currently of Express/TV6, has refused to confirm or deny that she is the reporter everybody is now talking about.

I did not know about this controversy. In my ten years of experience as a journalist I want to mention that it is VERY easy to get a little "dizzy" with all the recognition that you get when you are a TV reporter so I won't be surprised IF this is the case but who knows! Nevertheless, most journalists perfectly know that the *real* journalism is being out there looking for the news but it is not the most payed job either compared to being in a TV studio with nice make up and clothes. 
Having said that, she is doing an EXCELLENT job at investigation journalism!
If this story is true, then it seems like Sasha decided to stay with the Express/TV6 News.

That report in the Mirror is a trashy one that is full of lies. I happen to know Sasha ..she's a good acquaintance...and she had a significant name at the Guardian before going to TV6news.
She's a formidable journalist who has commanded respect for her reports. She is definitely not well liked because of her abilities and forthrightness but she's a great girl if you get to know her personally.
And by the way...she stayed with TV6news and has now come to define them as far as breaking news goes.
I think it's sad that people go to any lengths to destroy other people's reputations, but clearly the Mirror did not achieve this goal...Sasha is still going strong. We need more journalists like her.

Comments: I like when Sasha Mohammed does the investigative reports. I hope they keep her doing those and exposing all the nonsense in this country.

Sasha is in hot water and I'm surprised (if is true) that she would do something like that. Why? Because she's a serious journalist... how naive of her to think that she couldn't be traced (she sent the email from her own home!).
QUOTE SASHA MOHAMMED, special adviser to Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, was yesterday issued a stern warning by police after their probe uncovered that the threatening e-mail sent to Express editor-in-chief Omatie Lyder and reporter Anna Ramdass originated from the computer at her home.
Police had initiated an investigation after Lyder and Ramdass reported that they were threatened in an e-mail on January 30 sent to them by someone adopting the alias "Janice Thomas" in connection with the Reshmi Usha Ramnarine story being investigated by the Express.
The report was made on January 31 at the Port of Spain CID office to ASP Ajith Persad and now-deceased Supt Lennard Gay.
Gay and Persad immediately instructed Cpl Rennie Grant of the CID to conduct the investigations.
Lyder and Ramdass had submitted statements to Grant during the course of the investigation including copies of the e-mail, which was also posted on the Caribbean Talk website but subsequently removed following complaints from the two journalists.
The e-mail, which targeted Lyder and Ramdass,was addressed to editors and reporters of the Express and staff of CCN-TV6 as well as other media houses, accused Lyder and Ramdass of a personal vendetta against Ramnarine.
The e-mail stated that "their day in the sun is over" and "this is the beginning... They will understand the consequences of their actions..." Source 7
