An old, gruff, looking man sitting at a small desk sets down his writing quill and looks at Caldric blankly. "Who are you? What is your business here? Hurry up, my time is precious!" He says in quick succession, obviously wanting to be left to his work.

[Out of Character:] You are in the town of Leth, the town you traveled too. [Out of Character:]
The tavern only has a few patrons sitting in it, and they appear to be wasting time rather than talking of things of great import. The bartender is dozing on a stool with his head resting against the bar.
----------
Geirill listens to Glem, and when he finishes speaking, Geirill pats his shoulder. "I am sorry friend, but we do not have any jobs for you to do," suddenly he stops, "--wait, I need you to travel to Ka-Karen, the biggest fortress on this small continent. You are to meet our informant there. He is a member of their guard. Say this passphrase when you think you have found him, 'The Desert house has need of water.' That will let him know that you are a messenger from us.
----------
Twill thinks it best to leave the horses where they are. After what seemed an eternity of prone crawling and scrambling on all fours, Twill and Kaine make it to the other side of the dune ring unnoticed.
Twill whispers to Khane "ok, here is what I think we should do. I will peak over the edge and find a target, hopefully the first shot or two will be a surprise. Eventually they are going to figureout where I am and come running. Thats where you come in my large friend. What a surprise when the crest that dune and find you and your steel coming at them. Sound good?"
Twill will edge up to the crest of the dune with arrow nocked he will take a quick glance at the positionings and will let fly at the closet orc.

Glem scribbles 'Ka-Karen' and 'The Desert house has need of water.' on a scrap parchment.
Glem asks Geirill for a description of the informant such as distinguishing features and asks if he has any spare horses?
(Is this camp far away from the closest town?)
"I heard you had 'work' available." Caldric said dryly, a wisp of sand must have clogged his throat as he walked over from the bar.
"I have skills I believe you would want."
Caldric pointed to his crossbow and his dagger. A pair of menacing weapons.
"You hiring?"
The bartender pours Krusten an ale and says, "Well, not much has happened after the caravan left for one of the larger towns down south. There really isn't much going on around here. Cartetha is northwest of here if that is where ya mean to go."
----------
Khane nods and gets into position. As Twill reaches the top of the dune he looks into the camp and sees about 4 orcs sitting around a campfire. He draws back his bow and fires an arrow at one of them. The arrow easily pierces the orcs back and he drops dead. Alarmed a roar escapes from the other orcs and they charge up the hill towards you. Twill fires another arrow and again it downs an orc. But the orcs are quick and are almost upon him. Khane rushes out and easily skewers an orc with his spear and begins to battle with the other one.
Out of the corner of his eye Twill sees the orc sentry charge him. His fumbles with another arrow and doesn't noch it in time. The orc swings a club at him. The club knocks the bow out of Twills hands and doesn't do much else. (Take 1 damage.)
----------
"I can not tell you, for if you know of him and are captured we could not have one of our agents rooted up. And yes, we have some water, rations, and a good riding horse for you."
----------
The man looks Caldric over several times and says standing up from his desk, "Yes, I do have a job for you, follow me." The elder soldier quickly begins to walk out the door.
Twill ascends the dune cautiously, peeking over the rim into the bowl of sand. He spots a small group of orcs sitting around a fire. Twill nocks an arrow and pulls back on his bow. Twill sets his thumb in the all to familiar spot by his ear, aims and lets fly. He can feel the feather tickle his cheek as the arrow slides past. In a heartbeat, he is rewarded with a solid thunk in the back of the nearest orc. The orc falls foward and as the other orcs see the arrow sticking from between his shoulder blades, they rise up quickly and begin sprinting toward Twill.
Twill nocks another arrow and lets fly at the leading orc, the arrow pierces his neck and exits the other side, the orc drops midstride into the sands. Twill retreats behind the dune and signals to Khane they are coming, as the first orc crests the dune, he is met with the pointy end of Khanes spear, its momentum skewering itself on the sharp point. The last orc engages Khane and Twill foolishly lets down his guard for a moment, unable to fire at the orc without risk of hitting khane. Out of the corner of his eye Twill catches a bit of movement, he tries to get an arrow nocked when his hand is dealt a stunning blow. The force of the blow knocks the bow from Twill's hands, with a roar of frustration, Twill steps back and draws his short sword.
This is all for the better, you filthy beast, now I can watch your eyes as your life slips away.
