Krusten goes closer with an embarrassed silly smile.

"It seems I've been away for a bit due to some unfortunate happenings, what have I missed?"

She calls back her dog to her side.

As I wrote before
Glem will wait for a changing of the guard before coming forward with the same line:

Bluff: 12 - 2 =10

"Not much really, we have been patrolling in a circle around Cartetha for about 2 days. We killed a few wolves and that was it. How about you?" Geoffre says.

----------

After the guards change, Glem goes asks them once again if he can see a superior. The guard Glem walks up to seems angry about something and when Glem asks him he replies, "There are to be no visitors to any of our superiors, but, if you can pay the coin I can set something up... Only 100 gold..."

He replies with a smile on his face.

Krusten takes a moment to reply,

"I may have become lost by some kind of magick but I believe I'm ready to return to duty. What is on the agenda now?"

"No, thanks" replies Glem and walks off. He has no idea where to go next, but decides to head to the tavern, since it was a long trip and he thinks he needs some rest.

"Well... Not much besides doing rounds in the city and patrolling the desert. But, rumor has it that a huge caravan is coming, and they plan to settle even further south than the fortresses. That is dangerous and deep into orc territory." Geoffre says. Then, he graps a small satchel and a waterskin, "Here you look thirsty." He says tossing them to her.

----------

When Glem enters the tavern he sees a much different group than he saw at Cartetha's tavern. It is crowded and full of armored men. None of them look to be guards. A few of them glance at Glem and then go back to whatever they were doing. Normally Glem would appear unique and strange, but in this bar, everyone is as much a warrior and mercenary as he is.
