Trini Accent Ranks Among The Sexiest In The World
What do you all think about our accent making it as one of the sexiest accents in the world! I was very surprised and started wondering if there was a Trini behind the whole thing.

According to a CNNGO.com Facebook poll published on Thursday, out of 90 global accents, fans ranked Trinidadians number ten, with a speaking style that "offers an undulating, melodic gumbo of pan-African, French, Spanish, Creole and Hindi dialects that, when adapted for English, is sex on a pogo stick."
But why is the sound of our voice so attractive to foreigners? "A person's attitude to an accent would relate to his or her attitude or image toward a people and culture," suggests noted local novelist and champion of Trinidadian creole, Dr Merle Hodge.
"It's the perception that would make it appealing," she said.
Historian and publisher Gerard Besson says that generally speaking, he thought Trinidadians had an attractive accent. "I think it's not so much the accent, but the sense of humour, and the ease with which we can come up with a turn of phrase to make people laugh...
