Tampering CXC results online is illegal
Education Minister Dr Tim Gopeesingh has warned that tampering with CXC results online is a criminal offence.
Gopeesingh said it was brought to his attention, last week, that pupils were changing their grades online.
The minister said he had discussed the matter with the Registrar at Caribbean Examinations Council, Didicus Jules.
"He had immediately removed the logo from CXC so any student who attempts to print that as one of the official transcripts will be found to be in breach. It's a criminal activity, a fraudulent activity ... They could be found guilty of a criminal offence," Gopeesingh said.

The question should be: what kind of security they had in place to allow these students to do something like that? Local sites are usually not well designed and protected so I'm really not surprised at this turn of events.
