Was Jesus a socialist?
Leftists often try and use a few passages in the Bible to make the case that socialism is what God says we should be implementing here on Earth. Does Jesus command us to help the poor? Yup. Problem the left has is finding the verse in the Bible that says 'help the poor - by giving your money to the government.' But hey, libs, glad to see you're checking out the Bible - while we're there, why don't you guys check out Psalm 139:13 and see if that contradicts any of your current platform positions. Ref. Socialist Jesus
I very much dislike in the strongest terms when anyone tries to politicize the name of Jesus for their own gain. Jesus wasn't Democrat, Republican, Communist, Socialist or any of the terms men like to use because his government is NOT of this earth!
