What is your opinion on the interview seasoned journalist Dominic Kalipersad had with the Attorney General Anand Ramlogan on Tv6 News?
Mr. Kalipersad showed in that interview WHY he's a seasoned journalist. He asked the right questions, remained calm while Mr. Ramlogan was nervous and unsettled. The thing is...the questions Kalipersad asked him were the same questions we were all wondering! And yes! The Prime Minister DID commit a mistake when she said "limited" state of emergency.
Oh lossss, Ramlogan didn't stand a chance against Dominic. I bet he was sweating because let me tell you he got real nervous when answering. I thought he should have stated what he thought about Gibbs being out of the country during this time but I understand his excuse.
I respect Dominic Kalipersad but I find he already had his mind set before the interview and didn't give Anand the possibility to reply properly without interruption. He's a good journalist but I was kind of disappointed.
Actually I was thinking why aren't there more interviews like this with the politicians? This started with Indira Mathur (don't know where she is now), continued a bit with Sasha Mohammed and then there was that team that interviewed Manning. Now we have Anand being grilled... We need more journalists that can be straightforward and professional like this. Good work Kalipersad.
I thought Anand Ramlogan was extremely anxious and upset at the questions. I'm not sure exactly what was he expecting but I thought the questions were well thought and valid.

Comments: Anand was defending Kamla about the whole "limited" state of emergency. Is he serious? People understood it was meant for the crime hotspots, not for the whole country! Also what was that about Anand inviting himself to the interview? Does it mean he requested air time to TV6 news?
This interview was so funny! I laughed and laughed, and laughed. Anand was so nervous, he was sweating and trying to put Dominic in place but failed big time because Kalipersad remained quiet and professional. Why was Ramlogan so vex about the questions?
