Have you ever noticed the Trinidad version of an "Everything Must Go" sale? What they do is raise the price on their items and then slash it so looks like you are getting this huge discount but all you are really getting is 10-15% off the 'normal' price or in some cases paying the normal price before the markup.

I know exactly what you mean. I see this most popular with clothing stores. They slowly raise their prices and then tell you they giving you this big discount when they can't sell enough.
