What do you think about the claim by manufacturers of pinhole glasses / stenopeic glasses that it can cure pooreyesight?

I believe this may help with some kinds of vision problems but will not be a cure for vision problems list astigmatism or really poor eyesight. I read Source 6 that there was even a ban on making such statements in the US because there is no scientific basis to back it up.
