Bigfoot
Bigfoot is, if nothing else, a bipedal species of ape or an ancestor of man that, through isolation, had no need to further evolve. The species has not had enough time to evolve since it has come into the modern age - that is, until the [Europeans] came to the [Americas], its lived happily in the woods. And its only had 3-400 years different.

There's little doubt that the majority of bigfoot reports are hoaxes. Cynicism aside, we'd be seeing a lot more physical evidence if this creature existed in the wide wandering numbers the reported sightings would suggest. At the very least, I'd have expected one of the trigger happy individuals obsessed with this creature to have shot one by now.
So we can't trust what people have claimed to see, for whatever reason. Without that, we're left with the physical evidence, which is again, lacking.
I won't claim no such creature exists, but I find no compelling reason to think it does exist.
