Yes I agree LDS that is why he is still in the Canadian History books but why would the germans not have wiped it out of theirs? Perhaps it is also the times one can not deny something existed if every one around you kept in their records I guess. Perhaps in centuries past they could have wiped it out and just had a hole in their history vs Hitler.

Exactly. History is history, you cannot just wiped it out. In addition to that, Germany holds strict rules about anything near Neo-Nazis as well as denying the Holocaust. They walk in thin ice all the time about this issue so they are for sure to expose and record everything related to what Hitler did.

Yes they do walk differently then they do here. They do not even fly their own flag on homes or businesses due to the outcome of WWII. A german fired of mine told me that he was shocked when coming to Canada and seeing how many flags were openly displayed.

The problem is that the core of what hitler was exists in people today. Its not racism or hatred, its a lack of responsibility. Hitler was able to succeed at murdering Jews and trying to take over the world because he believe that Germans were not responsible for what happened to them. They blamed the world, they blamed the Jews, they blamed everyone. Its easy to justify nearly anything if you believe that someone has wronged you. Maybe I'm off on this, but if living in poverty was the the fault of the Jews locally, and the fault of the world generally, why wouldn't you fight back against that? You have to believe you are in the right to do that.

After killing more than 10 million people, I feel literally disgusted and sick at those who put this guy as a hero or role model. I was just watching a video of White Supremacists dressed in Nazi uniforms, doing the Nazi salute as well as having the swastikas displayed in their arms and flags. After all the monstrosities this sick man has committed, some people STILL seeing him as some sort of god. It is truly disturbing.

Hitler, a good politician but a very dumb war leader. Having some of the best generals of the war is only useful if their advice is followed.
Hitler did more for the Allied war effort than any other person. In fact, Allied high command called off an assassination attempt on him reasoning that Hitler was doing Germany more damage than they could!
