Rose--- Lavender = Enchantment, Love at First Sight

Wow, so true, I have always loved lavender roses, and when I first fell in love with my Husband it was love at first sight.

so I guess this sums me up pretty well

I don't like roses because they are to widely used by everyone, I think they are used to death. Besides it's so mush easier to give out a pot of red carnation I planted and nurtured myself then a dead rose.

I love roses, daffodils, and magnolias the most. Oh, I also love lilacs. The fragrances of all these flowers are great. My grandmother grows magnolias, roses have always been my favorites, especially the white ones, and daffodils are the flower of my birth month (March). Oh, one other reason I love roses is because when my father's mother died, my father took one of the roses from on top of her casket and handed it to me, then he said "I love you, don't ever forget that". My father and I have a good relationship and he tells me he loves me, but that day was the first time he had told me he loved me, without me having to say it first. So every time I see a red rose, I think of that day, and rather than making me sad, it makes me smile.
