Mormon Presidency Salary

Comments: The Mormon missionaries are teaching that no one is paid in the Mormon church but I find that hard to believe that no one takes any kind of salary of any kind. What about the Mormon presidency, I think they're called "First presidency" I will be shocked that they are doing this all on their own savings.
Matters like that aren't known to the church as a whole. The lay ministry, bishops and such are definitely not paid. I think the apostles and the first presidency definitely do get some kind of stipend but what that is no one knows.
Last I heard, the stipend for living and travel expenses is about $80,000. Just anecdotal for my part though. Wouldn't want that lifestyle. It's quite rigorous in terms of meetings and conferences with areas and stakes.

If you're correct with that figure that's fairly high considering they won't need to spend much of it because their other amenities: travel, lodgings, food, etc are paid by the church.
My understanding is that includes travel, health issues etc. I don't think it matters though. It's not enough to become fabulously wealthy. They're certainly not spending a lot of time on the beach. I wouldn't begrudge them 120,000 if that's what it is today and I wouldn't consider them paid in any normal sense.
