The violence is really bad. Witnesses and a victim testified on TV6 that students sexually assault teachers and gangs hold other students at ransom.

Chaguanas North Secondary School Caribbean / Tobago & Trinidad

Things have gotten worst at the Chaguanas North Secondary School with students who belong to two gangs at war with each other. Recently, a plot to kill a teacher and students was foiled and the army was brought in to restore safety to the school. The TTUTA president has claimed that police in the area are not heading the calls of teachers about the crime among the students thus allowing it to get out of control.
