Halloween

Superhero costumes are big this year at least it is in my area. The kids want to be Thor, Green lantern and Superman. I can handle those, I don't like when they want to do the scary stuff.

My cousins are planning a whole haunted grave yard scene for their children and the neighbors. They drafted plans and everything - it is very detailed.

Halloween is what we call rotten teeth day. They get so much of the junk at school then when they come home they go for more its like a sugary junkie high. Worst is trying to get them to stop eating it all at once.

Trick-or-treaters hit by car

WEST JORDAN - Two children were hospitalized after being struck by a car while trick or treating Monday night. Authorities said the two girls were crossing the street near 6475 South 4800 West (Cougar Lane) when they where struck by a vehicle driven by a female motorist. Ref. Source 6

That's really sad to hear of the car crash and deaths. I did notice last night that there were loads of kids crossing the roads in the pitch dark trick or treating.

I don't celebrate it, much to my kids annoyance .
They did go to a church "alternative" party, and they went dressed as pirates, ate hot dogs and cakes and thoroughly enjoyed it.
