For the future... 'The Underground'

...are they worth an Upgrade all on their own? In other words, would the content of these Boards be worth making a Donation / Upgrade if this was the only feature available?

Absolutely. For the amount of a donation that it is for upgraded status it is much more than worth it for all of the additional boards that you get to participate in. I personally do not post a lot in any of the upgraded boards however I have found that the few discussions I have been involved in on these boards are in depth, mature, and overall enjoyable and enlightening. Once I have upgraded and seen everything that there is it is no longer a question of is it worth it because it most definitely is worth much more than the costs.

I'm a little confused. Are the member blogs that are located in the Welcome board visible only to upgraded/mature members? I always thought that they were open to everyone.

I agree that the features are worth upgrading for. If nothing else, the ability to "double post" on a topic is worth it. There have been many times when I have added pertinent material to a topic, several days after may last post, and nobody else had posted there.

Boards Hidden

This was covered months ago in a Newsletter and is also located in the 'Read Me' Thread of the Members Blog Board where it says that only Members who have Mature Status / Upgraded can see the Member Blogs. This is to protect personal information from prying eyes, Members that just join to 'know your business' as it were. If you want the Public to see your Blog then you can use the New Portal which has even more features than just a Blog since people can make comments, you can upload pictures, choose how it looks, etc.

Now, not to go off track here, we are working mostly on the Hidden Boards now, so that the content is even more addicting and valuable - in this way it can be an independent reason to Upgrade besides all the other features already offered.

Hmm, I didn't know I was missing them until I upgraded. Now seeing them makes me certain that I don't want to lose that privilege. The husband and wife boards, psychology boards, and heinous crimes have been my favorites in the hidden sections. It is one of the main reasons to continue upgrading, as I enjoy the posting the most here, and is the primary reason I upgraded anyway.
