I have a question: If we voted during the "off season" is that going to be added to the voting percentage? Not for FP reasons, but just because I think it would be kind of cool to have a bar next to my name. Heh heh...

I do not know what you mean by 'off season', but if you mean when your voting rate us points has reached its limit, then you will still be able to vote, but the bar will not move up since the bar is an indicator of your rate us points. You will be able to vote every 24 hours.

No, that's not what I meant. Sorry. What I was asking was that if we voted when you weren't giving FP, are we going to get the credit for voting? I went through to every rating page a few weeks back, but you weren't giving credit for it. What I was going to ask was if we voted then, is it going to count? Not for FP necessarily, but just to be added to the list of voters.

Like I said before... it was disabled previously because of abuse. The bar is an indication of your rateus points so if it is off you will not have any rate us points to get (if it is disabled then how will it record or give you points while being off?). If you wish to vote and do not care about getting FP then simply use the Rateus page without exchanging your points for FP which is actually a separate feature.

I like the new rating system - so that you know which links are important, and that you get points for each one you visit, instead of each time you visit the page.

Only one thing - For all of those Music/cooking/Family sites, when you click on them you just enter a list of sub music or cooking or family top lists. Do you need to enter them to vote?

Yes. Certain pages require you to press a button or link to another page - you may also be given a bar or link to award a certain number of points from 1-10.

I do not make it to the rate us page very often myself. I have actually only been there enough to go through each of the links one day each. I need to make sure I do better about this to help and get all of the ratings up.

JB, you should know that while it says you can do it twice a day, some of the pages explicitly say once in a 24 hour period or you will be banned. I have taken to rating us once a day to make sure I don't get the site removed by voting to often. On of them you can only rate once though.
