Greetings,

What a month January 2005 has been. We did a
lot and experienced a whole bunch of fun! We
wish to congratulate the winners for Moderator
and Member of the Month of January 2005. As
you know the Mod that wins gets 400FP and the
Member gets an easy 100FP!

FORUM GLOSSARY

We now have a new way for Plus Members to build
up an online database of terms that cannot be
found anywhere else! Anyone can view and I am
sure as entires are given you will find it rather
amusing. A link to it can be found at the top of
any page near: 'Your Location'.

NEPHI RPG

Yep, it is more or less completed. We have three
stages finished and lots more to go and we ARE
taking on players now. NOTE: you must be a Plus

IMPROVED SEARCH

We added some code to allow for the Forum to
Search not only titles and messages, but their
descriptions too! This means that if a thread
has a particular word in its' description then
it will display it as well.

Rate Us Page

The Rateus page is open again to give points for voting and you will note that it now shows your current percentage rating. It also has special built in features to prevent abuse - something we thought we would not have to do in a mature community.

Certain links will give you points and others will not based on the symbol shown on the actual Rateus page. Of course if you are rating us just because you wish to help establish us on other sites then which links you click (vote for) will not matter, however if you continue to click a reward link then you will eventually be told - you have done it enough .

Please note: for some links just clicking on it is not enough. The external vote page that opens may have a button or link that you still have to click as confirmation that you want to vote for us. Please follow through - thanks.

Minor Change to Rate Us

You can vote passed 10, but you will not be able to get points for it.

Rate Us Page

Some errors were corrected. The time clock resets itself ever 24 hours so your points can increase by 10 after that time. You can test it now and see. The Top Rate Us members is now shown as 15 instead of 10.

Florena Protection Tickets

Can now be viewed via the 'Verify Protection' link in the Forum Shop.

Phone Home Updated

We enlarged the 'Phone Home' window and included more of the questions most frequently asked. We also added content that was not available during the time the Phone Home feature was created.

Vote For Moderators Easily

The vote page now has an easy drop down list that enables you to choose which Moderator you want as Member of the Month.

We are really going to make a big bang of this community, in fact, we have already started... and no, we will not close it down as it will be used as a root of communication when we arrive in Argentina. What we are looking for are users that know how to speak both English and Spanish, but do not feel intimidated as the Community has both languages - if you would like your name reserved please feel free to register it now while the DB is young.

Now you may be wondering about the difference - mainly the focus is on Spanish speaking countries (not only Argentina), but we cater for those who do not know how to speak Spanish.

Updates

1. More links added / to be added to the Rate Us page.
2. An error was corrected with the Glossary that was stopping Plus Members from adding terms
3. Moderators are now allowed to see who is invisible
4. Similes are limited to one per post.
5. Non-posters are to be deleted later today to purge the DB and recount poster's true post count.
6. Polls were re-introduced to the Board Index.
