Comments: Why do UFOs only appear to a select few and not to others? If you compare those who have seen it with others who have seen it they are all just average people.

Maybe because those select few were the ones making it up? I don't want to insult the intelligence of anyone but for me if aliens really wanted to reveal themselves they won't do it just to a few but to everyone.

Perhaps they are not really wanting to be a public news items but instead get caught accidently. Say an emergency landing or refueling.

After all if you were them looking down at what we do to each other would you want us to be aware of you as a whole? Genocide does come to mind, as humans do not like being inferior to anything and we are all physcopathic by nature. Can't dominate it we try to kill it. Scared of it we kill it or enslave it.

That's a good point but then you are assuming that if there were some alien being monitoring us that they are taking our interests at heart, but why? Also if they have the technology to cloak then why come with big beams of light - that doesn't seem accidental even we have night vision.
