Recipe detials:

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup sugar

2 whole eggs -- beaten

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup cake flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 whole bananas -- mashed

1 tablespoon buttermilk

4 tablespoons brown sugar -- rounded

Sift together dry ingredients - set aside.

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients. Add vanilla and bananas. Lastly, quickly stir in the buttermilk and brown sugar.

Bake in a greased loaf pan about 1 hour at 350.

TO MAKE IN A BREAD MACHINE:

Place all ingredients in the machine EXCEPT the buttermilk and brown sugar.

Bake on "Cake" setting......at the sound of the beep add the buttermilk and brown sugar.
