Cornel West to Cain 'get off the symbolic crack pipe'

You know what happens when an African American becomes a conservative -- people like Al Sharpton start claiming they aren't 'authentically black' and that's exactly what Sharpton did to Herman Cain. Cornel West and others have piled on and have started accusing Cain of not really being the color he actually is. West said that Cain has to get 'off the symbolic crack pipe' yesterday. Ref.
