An obese population means more medical expenses for the health sector. This government should make health a priority by first encouraging schools to provide healthy stuff for the children. This will set a pattern they can grow up with into adult life.

What is so ironic about Trinis getting fatter everyday is that the food prices nowadays is so high! It's not like in the United States where you can lots of food for a few dollars and then gorge yourself in it, I would understand if that's the case. However in T&T it's the complete opposite, but the problem is - they don't care.
