Malexander Introduction - Page 34
Thanks
JB, like I mentioned in my blog, I have an array of mixed emotions, because buying a house is such an undertaking, but I am mostly excited to becoming a homeowner. We put the offer in and the seller's agent came back to our agent stating that they accepted it. As part of the acceptance, we had to pay them earnest money which is not insignificant, so it will be very difficult for them to pull out, although not impossible.
I've already scheduled an inspection for Wednesday, so they know we mean business. They are moving out of town, so most likely they are trying to get their things in order before they leave as well.
Yes, my wife is still in school, and she expects to be done in 2007. Our move won't affect her ability to travel to school since we're pretty much staying on the same side of town. We did that so our kids wouldn't have to switch schools, especially my daughter who is going to Middle School next year. As for me, I will actually be closer to work and our day care provider, so that is definitely a
plus. I'll update my blog/rave thread as I
find out more. We are all going to look at the house again today with the kids and my in-laws.
