The gazebo on the deck in the back stayed with the house and currently has the tarp covering on it. It really helps keep the deck and dining room (which is right inside the sliding doors) cool.

Thanks for the well wishes LDS_forever. It is a very exciting time for our family right now. I am sitting in the family room pinching myself to make sure I am not dreaming.

Are you sure those pictures were taken in the WINTER, in MINNESOTA? That looked like late March, early April to me. Nowhere NEAR enough snow.



Anyway, it looks like a very nice house. I am sure that your children are going to LOVE that big back yard. Fortunately, the growing season is so short there that you shouldn't have too much trouble mowing the grass all three times this summer!

(Remember, I have lived up there - in Grand Rapids).

Wow, great house Malexander! I'm so excited for you and your family. Even with a lot of snow, I'd love to live in a neighborhood like that! So glad all went well with the move. Cool!

Thanks everyone. Needless to say this has been a very busy week and a half. I will update my blog with all the gory details of the move, and the tribulations that came with it. I should be back to full force on the forum now that I have internet access (long story) at home, and am back to work.

Nighthawk, you are correct. Those pictures were taken in early March. However, I think I'll be mowing more than three times a year. I already mowed once yesterday. Let me tell you, it was a lot of mowing too. Thankfully, the yard is all flat.
