The list that follows reflects what has occurred throughout the Russian Federation from December 8, 2009, the date of the ruling by the Russian Federation Supreme Court, until August 27, 2011. Recently, 16 incidents have been added.
Do the Russians have a special hate for Witnesses or is it just all religions because they were communists so they don't believe in god and such.
I have no doubt that other minority religions are suffering in like manner, but at least one church seem to be immune.

An appeal hearing contesting the criminal conviction of Aleksandr Kalistratov will be heard by the Supreme Court of the Altay Republic on December 22, 2011.
Even though Jehovah's Witnesses are going through some trying times now in Russia, we prefer to dwell on the positive. We have a long history in Russia, endeavoring carry to everyone the "Good News" that Jesus said would be preached. (Matthew 24:14)
High court in Russia overturns guilty verdict in Kalistratov case. We hope like cases in Russia will turn out as well, with positive results.
