I think this kid is lucky that it just grazed his hand and did not hit him in the head or another part of his body. I can not imagine the damage something like thos would do to the unprotected human body.

Boy Hit By Meteorite Travelling At 30,000mph
The meteorite landed in the child's hand and left a three-inch scar on his hand. The chances of being struck by a meteorite are around one in 100 million.

The white-hot meteorite bounced off the schoolboy's hand and hit the ground so hard it left a foot-long crater in the tarmac - as well as a three-inch scar on his hand.
