That does make sense about it being the constant flow of the sugary substance. Probably my dentist said soda just because for adults it is more likely to be soda than juice.
Offtopic but, Not all root beers except Mug have caffeine in them. You need to read the labels to see which ones do and which don't. Barq's non-diet does, it's diet does not, for example. With root beer most actually do not have caffeine in them. I always check first. I was aware about the Sunkist Orange so I always read those labels as well. Caffeine is a flavor enhancer which is why more and more sodas are beginning to add it. |

When I was a student, I did an "experiment" with a friend. We took a tooth extracted from a kid and we put it in a glass filled with cola (I can't remember if it was Pepsi or Coca Cola). It wasn't some kind of organized, well documented experiment; it just crossed our minds to do it. Anyway, some friends came over and we forgot about the tooth until the other day. To our surprise, the tooth was almost gone ... dissolved. So JB, here is the answer ... that's what cola's do to your body |
I know the show and I like it very much. I trust those two guys, but I know what we did. The thing is that we used a deciduous teeth (teeth from the first dentition) and it also had decays. So maybe here is the difference. I assure you I'm not a liar.
It does feel crazy saying this, but yes... even knowing how effective this product is at clearing oil and grease off my driveway, I am still a fan of Coca Cola. I have a terrible addiction to it, and I cannot stay away from it. I go through serious withdrawals when I try to stop drinking it... even slowly weaning myself of it. I get headaches worse than migraines when I stop drinking Coke. I also have to step up my exercising because it is loaded with sugar and no.. Diet Coke will not do. I wonder if people can check themselves in to a drug/alcohol detox center to do a condensed unconscious withdrawal so they would not feel the uncomfortable and painful side effects . .
Coca-Cola's ridiculous Polar Bear campaign
One of America's favorite soft drinks has partnered with an alarmist eco-group to try and help save the polar bear from supposed extinction. There are a few problems with this campaign. First of all, it's not even correct that polar bears are in decline - they've increased population five fold in the past several years. Secondly, how does it affect anyone's life in any way if polar bears go away? Isn't this a good thing for all the cute seals? Glenn, Pat & Stu put this campaign in its place on radio today Ref. National Geographic - Megafactories: Coca-Cola - Coca-Cola reaches more countries than there are in the United Nations, and it takes a power factory to provide a beverage with a famously secret formula consumed in over 99 percent of the populated world. Machines in a bottling plant pump out almost 800 bottles per minute, utilizing specialized air-veyor belts to maximize efficiency.
