Comments: It was on the main road between Hi-Lo and Ocean, 2 blocks from Hi-Lo. They came out of a metal building that sits off the main road.

That sounds like it was by the Hi-Lo near Pt. Cumana and not the Hi-Lo by West Mall. I've attached a screenshot of that general area, looks familiar? I put an arrow in the direction I think you might have been going which would actually be leaving Westmoorings. Do correct me if I am wrong.

Oh, that's not Hi-Lo West Mall it's a different Hi-Lo I was kind of afraid when you said West Mall because I shop there all the time and I never had a problem whatsoever (and I'm white).
