Mormon Facts, Truth & Emotion
I have a great concern about what we are being taught as truth is mainly through the use of emotion. I believe, in my littlest of understanding of life that if something is true that you should be able to research all aspects of it from a sound source and have it understood CLEARLY so there is no doubt. It is like the study of law - There may be many interpretations to the law but there is ALWAYS a source as to where and when that law was created, who it was meant for, etc. Therefore if you are just going off what someone said they saw and heard and worst that you heard it from someone who said they heard it from someone else and so on how do you know the story has not changed - most likely it has. Truth should not need second hand information and emotion as verification can be misread or created based on the frame of mind and needs of the person.
Isn't the whole idea of faith, you can't prove anything in a scientific way but you rely on that gut feeling. I know many do not think that is enough but then how will be tested on faith?
