I second that, Nighthawk -- what a touching and moving story. How amazing the power of the Priesthood! The book must be filled with amazing stories, as Elder McConkie was an amazing man.

Holy cow, that story was amazing. The Spirit really gets to you when you read it, and it only gets better as it goes along. For anyone who hasn't read it, take the time to do so. It's well worth it. It definitely helped strengthen my testimony.

Someday I hope to stand side by side with my sweetheart and report to the Lord that I have lived a life worth standing up for. And I also hope that, with the Lord's good graces in mind, I would have the gumption to somehow make him laugh in some way.

The church is true, ladies and gentleman, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

And just so people don't wonder what that has to do with the topic, it's just the byproduct of what the Spirit does to you when you read that article.
