Comments: I will like an answer from someone who lived during the war period, and I know there aren't many around, to talk about what regular life was like with rationing, surviving things, bomb raids and things like that.

My grandparents told me about this. My grandmother had to raise her children alone while grandpa went off to the Pacific. He made it back home but they both struggled very hard to make ends meet and keep their relationship positive.
