African Witches
"It is the work of the devil. I can't say I have ever practiced it myself," says Mariama, who has lived in the camp for about 10 years. Hundreds more women accused of witchcraft live in similar camps in the cocoa- and gold-producing West African country.

Excellent, we finally banish silly witch hunts from modern society, and now its happening again in another part of the world. If history has told us something its that people are superstitious and always wrong about "witches". Its a fundamental misunderstanding of what witches believe and worship that has been created by the church. Witches aren't of the devil, don't worship the devil, and are a completely benign religion compared to most main stream religions. Yet, the main stream religions will always persecute that which they don't understand.
African witches are some of the oldest known to man. The Egyptians had many ceremonies and spells they used as part of their daily life and many often forget that Egypt is part of Africa and not the Middle East.
