I checked the internet and have seen reports that it is back on the air. Sounds like this was just a PR Hype for season 2...as I am sure that they are running low on conspiracies worth a hour of TV time. I heard him on a radio show with one of his 9-11 theories and have decided my time might be better spent elsewhere, so I guess I am not that happy or sad that he will get another season before the real guys capable of pulling the plug on it do so.

Oh, he had a Season One already? Must be doing well enough for TruTV to bring him back again. I was surprised he was Governor of California at one time so he must be doing something right.

I think it was Minnesota where he was governor. Yeah, his conspiracy show isn't my cup of tea, as it really doesnt even attempt to reach resolution but more just throws a bunch of stuff on the wall and you are allowed to decide what sticks.

As a governor, I liked his style of politics.

However, with this new gig and listening to him promote it about 3 months back...these theories that he presents actually feed into that wrestling stereotype that you would have initially expected.

Yes, excuse my lack of knowledge in that. According to Wikipedia:

international QUOTE
38th Governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003

I guess there is more than one US State that votes celebrities in, I thought it was just California.

What does he say that turns you off particularly?

Is it the theory itself, if so then what do you think about this: Source 8 and similar Threads we have here?

Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory

Minnesota has actually hired a commedian as one of their senators as well - Al Franken. I have also read rumour of Alec Baldwin wanting to run for office (still wondering why he is here after having promised to leave the country if Bush was elected).

The show is billed as answering the conspiracy, but all it does is show the conspiracy and in general try to validate it as much as possible. It is showbiz. don't get me wrong. I like to be entertained, but this is billed as psuedo educational and is basically all fluff with no payoff and he is the helpless ringleader. Plus, his idea of the colums of the WTC being painted in thermite is obsurd. You would need a plane full of thermite to take down the WTC.

Listen, I cant buy that Lee Havey Oswald operated alone in the whole thing and that Jack Ruby was allowed to stroll into a police station with a gun. There is more to the story in my opinion. However, most of the topics covered in this show are just sensationalism.
