No matter how you look at it there is no safe way right now that the US can just pull out of Iraq. I would like to see our forces move elsewhere like Afganistan but that will not happen. We have done a great job over there and Iraq has some nice schools, clean water, electricity and other things they did not have before. They are now saying that the conditions over there are improving day to day. I think so to is the violence. IF the US was to pull out now I fear that there will continue to be lots of unrest and maybe a revision of lines in the sand. Iraq as a country may cease to exist for a while.

It is hard to say what good if any will come out of this war besides getting rid of Saddam. We have battle trained terrorist out there now. That is not a good thing to have. Iran now has battle hardened troops as well. Makes it real interesting for the future. But that is just my opinion.
