Iraq al-Qaeda chief not captured
The US military in Iraq says a man detained in Mosul is not in fact the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq.

True, they really don't have a lot of power just yet, but they have to live next door to Iran (their traditional enemies) and need to maintain relations. Would he admit to being a puppet? Certainly not.

Of all the "right" things to do, getting the Iraqis who helped the US into the US is #1. It is so wrong to let these guys/women hang out to dry and be at risk of harm or death, including to their families, after they have risked everything for us.
So everyone should read this article and do something to support the safety of these Iraqis.
