Does it seem that each time the Republican party is in power they go to war or is that just a misconception? Are they taking care of unfinished business?

Taking Stock of the Republicans
By Mike Whitney

The Republicans have become deficit hawks. It's more phoniness from a party of phonies. They've decided to stake their political future on opposition to Obama's agenda. It doesn't matter what it is; they're against it. Stimulus is bad because extends unemployment benefits and keeps the states on life support. The Republicans have a better idea; let's build more bombs and slash taxes. Ref. Source 7

Warmongers Republicans Are

That whole little article is a pile of the most stinking, disgusting garbage I have read in ages. It is hate filled with no reliable facts or useful information. It is a rant based on lies and distortions.

Having said that, I will agree that for Republicans to be deficit hawks is laughable. Ever since 1989, when George H.W. Bush took office, the Republicans have been "Democrat-Lite". They have encouraged the socialist agenda and have turned on the conservatives. They grew government, raised taxes, and implemented ever greater restrictions on businesses. They even supported and passed huge restrictions on freedom of speech.

However, only a few are real warmongers. The liberal Left only objected to the war in Iraq in order to oppose GWB. They never provided valid alternatives.

As for slashing taxes, JFK and Ronald Reagan both proved beyond doubt that lowering taxes improves the economy. Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, W, and Barak Obama have all shown how raising taxes slows down and damages the economy. So Republican attempts (late as they are) to reduce taxes are valid. But "let's build more bombs"? The author, of course, provides absolutely no documentation for his assertions, so is just using the anti-capitalist, extreme far-left liberal echo chamber to rant using the standard brainless liberal arguments, knowing that readers of that site will agree with them since few, if any of them, can look at facts and think about what they mean.

What a joke.

Are Republicans Warmongers? History & Civil Business Politics

It's a proven fact that Republicans tend to be more involved in wars than any other political party we cannot deny that however to say they're only doing what they do to oppose Obama is stupid...Obama is messing up this country terribly, I'm afraid of this man to be honest.

What Should A Poor Warmongering Neoconservative Do?
By Juan Cole

This political grouping includes WASPS such as former CIA director James Woolsey and former UN ambassor John Bolton, but at its core is politically active and extremely wealthy Jewish former Democrats who broke with their party in the 1980s to become war hawks in Republican administrations, and most of whom are rooted in Rightwing Zionism as exemplified in the thought of prominent fascist theorist Vladimir Jabotinsky. Comments: Obama is a Democratic, he won the president election by his slogan "change". One reason he won the campaign is because he said he opposes Iraq war. When it touches the interest of the Inside Group, he has to obey. In an area where needs an utter "change" - Defense Secretary, he reacts with "un change". Robert Gates stays. Because there is another war waiting for him to fulfil. Obama says he opposes Iraq war, because the bird is held in hand already. It doesn't cost anything but a lip service. But when his master gave an order, he will hug another war.

Politicians are selected from the followers of the Inside Group. Top government officials have been all screened tier upon tier. Though they pretend to be different they are all the same. By sticking a different sign of donkey or elephant they work for the same master. When people are tired of a white wolf, they gave you a black one. But on the core it's the same. Wolf won't change its habit to eat lamb.

Republicans to Cut Everything but Military:

The House GOP today unveiled an eye-popping plan to eliminate $2.5 trillion in spending over the next 10 years. Gone would be Amtrak subsidies, fat checks to the Legal Services Corporation and National Endowment for the Arts, and some $900 million to run President Obama's healthcare reform program. Ref. Why Don’t Republicans Identify What They Are Fighting?

American conservatives are rightfully annoyed with the Obama administration, and Democrats generally, for refusing to name radical Islam or Islamism as the major source of terror. When Nidal Hasan murdered 13 fellow soldiers at Fort Hood ,the administration refused to label the mass murder — committed by a Muslim in the name of Islam — an act of Islamist terror, or even terror at all. Instead it was officially declared a “workplace shooting.” And when President Obama convened an international conference on terror, he refused to include the word... Ref. Source 5s
