OC: We should choose the person with the highest level of 'mind', so if there is a chance to be a victim of hypnosis, at least, that person would stand a chance.

Well, Thorian has the highest mind with a 13. Next is Althea at 12. I agree with LDS, it should be Thorian if Thorian is willing.

Did you guys notice that Eissa chose to breath the fumes in deeply? We should watch her closely to see if it has any noticiable affect on her. Since she breathed in the smoke deeply she definately shouldn't be the one to volunteer although it might be more likely she would because of the smoke. I think Thorian is the logical choice.

OOC: I did? I just thought I said that I'd just sort of wait and see. Um, if Eissa does breath in the fumes, however, it would be interesting to see what sort of effect that would have on her. So, ah, she's going to. Anyway, I second ( or is it third ) Thorian volunteering for the box-ish thing. Er, and apologies for the strange post. I'm amazingly sleepy right now, see.

IC: Eissa was starting to feel somewhat happy. She wasn't sure exactly why, just that... must have been the smoke. Or was it? Rather muddle-headedly (her normal frame of mind) and quite accidentally sneezing, she took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. Quite in the habit of sneezing at inappropriate moments, she knew that she had to calm... down. Yes. That was it.

Down there on the stage there were some few ladies (was one of them the lady in the tent? What tent?) bringing a box on stage. Eissa looked everywhere but at them, not scanning the crowd but rather letting her eyes drift from face to face. What now, she thought. Volunteering, just like when we were kids. Who wants... who wants to play?

The GM can make our characters do certain things based upon the mind points, health points, etc., that we have. He must have decided that under the circumstances Eissa would give in and breath. In any case, if you read the post under Medieval Circus you will see that Eissa did take a deep breath of the smoke.

OOC: Well, I wasn't sure if I was in the tent or not, but since I was planning on attending the show I will assume that's where I am.

IC: *Seeing the smoke having it's affect on those around him, Thorian wraps his cloak around his mouth and nose, and starts deftly emptying the pockets of those around him. However he is distracted when several beautiful young women walk onto the stage with a large box. When they call for a volunteer Thorian raises his hand. This will give him the opportunity to distance himself from those whose pockets he has so recently ravaged, and anything involving attractive young women is good in his book*

Probably he would try a maximum of about five people, starting with those sitting immediately in front of him. I imagine it kind of like this:

Where the o's represent people, the T is Thorian, and the X's are the people who he will try to pickpocket. And yes, he attempts it before going up on stage.

Uh-oh! Thorian! What now, dude? Oh, boy... Ya better cut your losses and run!

So, Ice and Ariadne managed to get outside -- woo hoo! What do you think will happen with all this furor over Thorian? It has effectively interrupted the show, that's for sure.

OC: We are calling unneccesary attention to ourselves. I know you all wanna steal and all, but I don't think it is wise doing it now!, the people are becoming to suspicious of our activities. Not a good sign.
Thorian must decide for himself what he wants to do. Since Ariadne and Ice are just outside the tent, they can stay around not very far from it to continue seeing what's going on.
