Ice will give 5 GP to whomever breaks the lock. Perhaps Ariadne can match that for a total of 10 GP.

IC: "I will give 5 gp to the person who breaks this lock of the cage. Ariadne, how about you, will you match me?" If a few of you work together to get the lock off, you can split the pot."

"If that doesn't work, or you don't want to help, I will wait for the soldiers to arrive. Since, I have not done anything illegal, I am not afraid to wait. It is you towns peopel who will lose if you make us wait. You know those soldiers aren't going to do anything to help you get back your gold. When was the last time they helped any of you? huh, can you really think of a time they have really cared about your well being?"

OOC:Well I guess that means the circus workers are pretty far away... Shade can try to pick the lock with his knife, but I don't know how much good that will do... I'll have him try.

IC:Shade steps forword towards the lock and procedes to try to unlock it using his knife. If any circus workers are to approach he will quickly step back putting his knife back under his cloak.

[camp] Circus RPG PBP Medieval World

OOC: Howdy, folks. I got my FP, and used 100 to purchase 25 GP. I made a request to the GM for Airmed to have access to it ASAP, but according to current party stats that hasn't happened yet. We're still waiting to hear from Eissa and Thorian, plus a reply from Ariadne to Ice's question. I hope Airmed will be able to use her gold soon, as 10 or 15 gold would be much more appealing to a needy villager than 5. I like Shade's idea to attempt using his knife on the lock. Who knows...? I hope that the rest of our party will be posting soon. I expect to post party order by 9pm eastern time tomorrow night. If any of you come up with further suggestions, please toss 'em into the ring! I am not sure waiting until 9:00 this evening is wise. Once the GM gets impatient with a group, I have noticed he wants daily responses. So, I think it best not to wait that long. I don't know why LDS hasn't posted she has been on-line. You might send them each a PM or we just go along without hearing from them. As far as your gold. He probably isn't going to update party statistics again until the game is over. I don't know if he will give you access to the gold or not mid game either since there would be a question as to how your character got it.

You probably should send him an e-mail to ask him.

OC: I'm pretty new on this but the reason I did not reply is because in the story the GM is saying the Party Leader should roll the dice and I haven't see a message about that here.
We are 'talking' to this lady, offering her money, but the story says that after rolling the dice and see what happens as the result, then we should say what we are going to do or am I the one confused?.

LDS, Fugitive posted that she rolled only a 8. So, she does nothing. That is why we are still trying to talk others into helping.
