Ice grumbles under her breath, "What's the matter with people these days, don't they know how important tools are. Just like warriors with no armour. Poor Sokei found that out the hard way." Then says in a louder voice for all to hear: "No matter, just make sure you are properly equipped to help us in some manner or fashion on our forthcoming adventure. We will be sure to go to market before leaving and if you have no gold maybe you can barter with what equipment you do have that might be less needed." Turns to Eissa and says, "Have you not heard about the circus at the edge of town? Some really strange things have been happening to people there. We are going to check it out for ourselves. Are you thinking you might like to join us?"

OOC:No I don't have any thieving tools. They were the one thing I realy wanted to get but couldent afford. Maybe I'll find a way to get some more money and buy them.
Anyways as you can see I'm back from my vacation.

IC: Eissa nodded silently, wondering about the circus. She'd herself heard certain rumors regarding the place, but being the coward she was, didn't bother to check it out. Now, however, with not just herself going to go there...

She checked herself. Who'd ever said that she would even be going there in the first place? Not her, certainly. And she'd never said that she was interested in it. Besides, was it her business what happened to other people? Certainly not. Of course-

It would be her business, something told her, if someone died. Imagine, it said, imagine the guilt, the pain felt by the family, the hurt, the-

"I'll go," Eissa blurted, suddenly realizing that it was her who had said that. She cursed her traitorous mouth, vowing that she had better not regret this.

Ariadne is listening carefully to each one of the adventurers, she realizes that some of them are not very experienced and they may die soon. Suddenly she says...."Listen, we should all get our equipment N-O-W!. I hate to be wasting time in the market, if we want to be professionals, we have to act like them!". She then turns to Shade and Eissa and says 'You all have been drinking to much in the tavern or what?, thiefs without tools are like warriors without thirst for blood. I'm not here to take care of babies or are you all already too scared and want to run to mommy?' she says while laughing loud and rude and showing her two front missing teeth.

Okay, now that the big holiday weekend is over, can everyone who is currently joining this Scenario please check in?

Please give a "yea" or "nay" about getting more gear in the market place, or bartering equipment with another player. Then we need to get serious about voting for a leader and choosing Party Order, and then moving forward. Already the GM is antsy and we haven't even started yet

LDS_forever here. I would like to get a horse but too expensive too afford. Did anybody get a horse?. I think we should all go to the market before the adventure begins.

Althea shakes her head at Ice's and Ariadne's goading. "All right, my fiery friends.. Your point is well taken. When in town for my doctor visit, tools of the trade are on my list to buy. Some of us are a bit short on gold pieces -- although you both look very well equipped."

"Eissa, we're glad you are joining us. Please be comfortable among us... you are welcome here." Althea helps pick leaves from Eissa's curly hair. "Good that you aren't hurt ... one of us hurt before our adventure is too many to begin with."
