OOC: Okay, folks. Back from the 9th circle of Hell... ummm... I mean... a long weekend family event. Posting should not be a problem, especially since I now have my own computer- no more sharing w/ hubster- YAY!!!

IC: **Airmed appears from behind a copse of trees and scans the now larger group** "Welcome, new adventurers. I extend my hand to you all in sincere friendship. I trust that we will form some strong alliances amongst us. I am short of gold, but not adverse to work or barter. But for the time being I think I have enough supplies."

OOC:I'm here. I need to go to the Market but I have no money... >_><_<

IC:Shade stands up and walks over to Ariadne.
"If you think I am drunk you are wrong. It is just that I am broke. If I had at least 50 Gps Ide get my tools but I have zero. I will do all I can to get the money but it wont be easy and will probably take a while..."

I see the tools are quite expensive. What about stealing tools? We have several thieves. Can you guys figure out some kind of diversion and attempt to steal some? Isn't that what thieves do? Just a thought. As long as one of you has tools they could be used by any one of you when needed I should imagine. And, I believe we really might want to have these tools so we can break into circus wagons and trunks in search for what is causing the strange reactions.

I need to purchase the following items at the market:

mace 7 gp
poison cure potion 8 gp
snake venom flask 5 gp
sling 1 gp

I plan to leave some of my gear at my home at least for our initial trip to the circus. I think it would be quite strange to find a warrior fully in battle gear show up at the circus. So, when we go initially, I think we should go by day acting like normal people at a circus and just look around to see what we might want to investigate later. Then regroup and "plan our method of attack." What do the rest of you think?

Ariadne looks at Shade and says 'Ooops, well...we will figure out a way to get those tools' She then turns to Ice and says 'Yes, I think it is good to look like 'normal' people at least one day'. We should go in two seperate groups since it will look odd that all of us go together, don't you all think?".

Circus camp

**nods in agreement to Ice's suggestion**

Aye, we should try not to draw too much attention to ourselves. Blend in with the crowd and turn keen eye and ear for information by which we may benefit. To accomplish this, me thinks we ought pair off. Surely a throng of mostly thieves and warriors and one maid magician is sure to draw some stares.

ooc:

Great points brought up, and great suggestions. But first I believe we need to organize. We need to answer these questions for Party Order, and then we can move into the actual game. I've already plugged in some of the answers to get us started:

Name of Leader:

Name of Second Leader:

Scenario: Circus

Number of Players: 9

Names of Players:
Ramsus
FunXueYei
ShadowNinja
FarSeer
Fugitive247
Tenaheff
LDS_Forever
Xepher
Florena

Who will be in the lead:

Who will be in the lead 2nd:

Who will be in the rear:

Who will be in the rear 2nd:

Who will negotiate for the party:

When in an open field what will be your formation:

When in camp who will stay awake, 1st, 2nd, etc:

In a dangerous situation who will disarm traps:

Who will react first to attack:

If the leader becomes inactive in the forum who will take over:

How long does the leader have to be inactive on the forum before someone takes over:
48 hours

==============================================
Those with HIGH BODY POINTS should be in the lead and in the follow-up positions, and in the First to Attack.
Those with HIGH SOUL POINTS should do the negotiation.
Those with HIGH INTELLIGENCE should disarm traps.

Volunteer, or vote? Tenaheff, you have military experience -- can you help with the formation?

Let's get this posted in Party Order, and then we can move along with game play. This is so exciting!!

Ramsus? Fun? Florena? Please check in smile.gif

OOC: Yea to the market trip. but... ah... see, I just created my character, and used up all the 40gp allotted. I know forum points can be converted into gold (can they? I'm not sure) but I'm totally clueless as to how to go about doing so. If someone could just direct me to the procedure, I'll get some gold straightaway.

Oh, and the other stuff. I volunteer to take first watch at night, because I get to sleep after that and I hate being woken up in the middle of the night. Out of all the thieves, Aletha and I have mind: 12, so I don't mind trying to be the person to disable traps. Um, that's about it. Oh, and I don't mind trying to steal tools. In a fight, I'll be somewhere in the middle or the rear.

IC: Eissa looked decidedly uncomfortable. People shouting at her she was used to, but people being somewhat nice to her was another matter, especially people being nice to her when they had only just met. Her sporadic actions of clumsiness were amazingly irritating, and had the tendency to attract the anger of quite a lot of people. Like it hadn't already, she noted despondently, blushing (yet again) in response to Aletha trying to help her. She was so nice, Eissa felt. What was such a nice person doing as a thief?

It was then that she remembered all the stories of 'steal from the rich and give to the poor'. Perhaps Aletha was someone like that. "Thanks," Eissa muttered, "and I don't drink," she continued, albeit a little softer. "And, ah, I can try to get my hands on those tools, someway or another. I'm not that clumsy..." Trying to make herself invisible (and failing wonderfully) Eissa softly muttered a few swearwords to herself.

Keeping mostly to herself, Eissa gave a jump when Arimed walked in. Apparently, today had a lot of surprises in store. Wonderful, that, just amazingly wonderful. Why, she wondered to herself, hadn't she just stayed at home and never gone out? Oh, of course. The bandits. Shaking her head in an attempt to forget those thoughts, Eissa actually opened her mouth and spoke in the process. "Excuse me? If you're looking for the normal thing, ah, people, I can possibly pass for a traveler. I don't look like I come from anywhere. I mean, I'll try to help if I can..." she trails off, what small courage that made her speak up in the first place evaporated away.

xepher, to cash in fp for gp, go to the forum shop. There is a link at the top of the index page. You "purchase" that choice and then contact the administrator to have him note it for your character.
