Matthew 8:20

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Discussion: What did Jesus mean by this? What kind of abode was he looking for? Was it the temple, a special home or something not of this earth?

In the recent District Conference, the Mission President said he was refering to the Temple and he added that there was not a holy and worthy place on Earth for Jesus to laid his head. This is the first time I heard something like that, I didn't have time to research about it, but it is an interesting concept.

Exactly LDS_Forever, the temple at Jerusalem had been defiled by the people and so he had no place to go. If the temple would have remained sacred and holy he would have had a place to go.
