I'm currently in a very respectable and moderated debate with a Baptist friend on the subject of "Ongoing Revelation." This is an online debate and there are three judges involved - A Jew, and two Pentecostals. This debate is just for fun, but the judges will be scoring each round. I am obviously on the "affirmative" side of things, arguing my case FOR ongoing revelation, while the Baptist is arguing why he feels it is no longer necessary. The first two rounds are over, and now we are entering the phase where we submit questions to each other.
I am looking for some good questions to ask this Baptist regarding the topic of "Ongoing Revelation." He, too, will be asking me questions, but I'm pretty good at coming up with convincing answers. I've thought of a few good questions so far, but I'd like to hear what you all have to say. Anyone have any good questions I could ask him?
Thanks!
I wish I had any type of clue as to what you were talking about here, but alas, I don't. Perhaps you could be a little more clear? Thanks.
Reeder, is this a game? Just curious as to what is the fun part of it? Is it about winning points over arguments related to each person's religion? Just trying to get a grasp of what is this about. Thank you.
