Well, I absolutely love playing role-playing games, I may have not much experience with online kinds like these, but after a while, and people showing me how to get around, I plan on being an expert in no time. So anyone that wants to help me out thanks. And I am a very friendly person who will love and make the gaming fun.

That's cool but I've like read that kind of introduction so many times and they don't stick with it. So like how much are you into text role-playing games because we need serious players to join in?

Well, I love making up stories and stuff having to do with the characters and a whole world to interact in, I just need someone to kinda give me a head start. I play role-playing games with graphics all the time, but was never quite satisfied with how there was a limit to it all. That's why I came here seeking this. One thing I wonder is when the dice rolls come into play, because I've been reading some posts in the rpg parts, and didn't really see any battling of any kind.

What kind of head start are you looking for? You joined to play D&D or you're like open to anything? How much do you know already?

For dice it depends on which game you're playing because there are pages where you press a button and the rolls are made for you and then some GMs just ask you to roll your own and enter it.

A head start on how the battling works out, and I pretty much just need a guide for my first game. I'm used to having all the graphics and everything. Is there like a beginner game? For Dungeons & Dragons, I'm used to playing it with on a board with people, not online or anything.

The GM usually works out the battle you just have to like roll the necessary dice. Have you looked at this topic D&D Play By Post: How It Works I think it explains that but Horde also gave you the links to get started.

Ok, after reading that, I have a more understanding of it, now do I make a new character each time before I play a role play? Or do I stick with my charactwer for every one?
